レコード「IYKYK」を制作中の私たちに突如、アンザイくん（MONARCH RECORDS）から送られてきた30年前のデモテープ。なんと急遽、新録でカセットテープでリリースすることに！
「Because」は私も愛するモータウンビートと50’sの雰囲気を持ち、メロも抜群。何度も聴き込みながらレコーディングに臨んだ。
歌詞に出て来るHarbee役にex.ピギーズのキタムンにコーラスを依頼し夢の初共演も果たしました涙。
セブンティーンアンザイによる軽快な原曲にオバコのねちっこさが加わった5分弱。
The Supremes〜Martha and the Vandellas〜The JAM「TOWN CALLED MALICE」を経て、最後はOvercoat’sに着地。
90年代を共に過ごしたみんなで集まり、2026年に完成させたアンザイ作「Because 」。
