yin and yang

My identity as the composer Yasuyuki Kojo, my identity as the biwa storyteller Kojo Kai, a beautiful and wholesome past, a painful and agonising past, moments of inner peace, and the turmoil within my heart...Where there is light, there is shadow. I continue to create music, believing that it is only by uniting these opposing forces-yin and yang-that I can truly be myself.
