MC MOGURA
Born in 2000 and raised in Sapporo, Hokkaido, this rising rapper first came into the spotlight at age 16 on the "BAZOOKA!!! High School RAP Championship," quickly making a name for himself across numerous MC battles. Following his university graduation, he launched into music production full-scale. Armed with a naturally catchy vocal timbre, he delivers a one-of-a-kind style of pop that seamlessly fuses solid hip-hop craft with highly addictive melodic sensibilities reminiscent of Vocaloid and anime themes. Producing his own tracks, his music video for "Meyasubako (feat. FUNK, DOTAMA)" has surpassed 100,000 views on YouTube. From composing the opening theme and sound logos for the NHK educational program i&AI, to pioneering new ground with a "Rapper x Vocaloid" concept featuring Kasane Teto, he continuously brings a breath of fresh air to the scene with his sharp, genre-defying vision.
