それぞれのあなたの行方に
光ってるもの分かってるけど
一つだけきっとわがままになってるから
いくらだとしてもまだ戻れないなら
戻れないなら 戻れないなら
You only live once for me
You only live once for me
惚れ惚れたあなたの行方に
光ってるもの分からないけど
一つだけそっとして欲しい時もあるなら
いくつだとしてもまた明日はくるさ
You only live once for me
You only live once for me
あなただけ折れそうで 弱い未来光を望んで
それだけでも素晴らしい日々 それでいいの
You only live once for me
You only live once for me
You only live once for me
You only live once for me

In 2023, the days felt clouded-my mind heavy with something that wouldn't let go.
It was as if a spirit had taken hold, lingering quietly. A hole opened in my heart, and with it came a sudden abundance of time.
In those moments, I reconnected with old friends, shared meals, and made new acquaintances as well.
I found myself filling the spaces in my heart with simple, passing time-nothing extraordinary, just... enough.
As time went on, my emotions began to blur, saturating and dissolving into one another.
And yet, something new would rise quietly from beneath-an unfamiliar feeling, gentle but real.
Conflicting emotions coexisted within me, like tides moving in different directions.
Before I realized it, the year had already passed.
In 2024, I began going to live shows-again and again.
Daniel Caesar, King Gnu, Steve Lacy, FKJ, Hikaru Utada...
Each performance, each note, each presence on stage moved me deeply.
They were things that didn't need to exist, and yet they stirred something so profoundly human.
People sang, danced, and celebrated what had been brought into the world from nothing.
I realized then-I didn't want to remain just a listener. I wanted to be a creator.
That desire became the seed of this album.
To begin, I wandered into a secondhand bookstore near Parco in search of inspiration.
Nothing in particular caught my eye-until I came across the word Delta.
It appeared in a math book, and again in one about Hiroshima's river deltas.
When I returned home, I looked up the term.
Mathematically, "Delta" refers to the difference between two values.
In that moment, it all clicked. My tangled, conflicting emotions-this Delta-was the perfect way to describe it.
If where I stand now is my Delta, then perhaps these emotional shifts will rise and fall over time.
Maybe, like a long-term investment, the overall trajectory will move upward-who knows.
Each of us, after all, is still drawing our own Graph.
And in the brightest of days, I want to hold onto the things we've built.
If I could share one thing with others, it would be this: every moment matters.
That theme finally took shape.
Not long after, the whole team gathered at a café to talk about the project.
As we sat together, my eyes fell on a rough sketch in Marty's notebook-a gorilla, drawn in sweeping lines.
But this gorilla wasn't black. It was blue. And somehow, it looked brave.
I found myself wondering-do gorillas carry sadness, too? Can they feel the weight we feel?
The image lingered in my mind, resonating with the very theme we had been shaping.
I began to read about gorillas-creatures known to be sensitive, even fragile under stress, yet remarkably intelligent.
Much like us, they hold emotions of their own.
At last, things felt clear.
My heart, once fogged and restless, had found a kind of stillness.
And now, I'm ready to share what we've made.
Artist Profile
Graphé
Life is like a graph, a constantly shifting line. We can only stand on a single point at any given time, and we believe in the sounds that can only be born in that exact moment. That is the meaning behind the name Graphe. So says Sang, the producer, beatmaker, and musician at the heart of Graphe. Based between Hiroshima and Tokyo, Graphe is a music project formed by Sang alongside rapper Marty (Hiroshima) and producer Cline (Tokyo). Blending alternative, hip hop, and R&B, the group explores a genreless soundscape free from conventional boundaries, a sonic world where comfort and otherworldliness coexist. With a peaceful, green aesthetic at its core, their sound drifts between city and nature, chaos and calm. Drawing influence from artists like Hikaru Utada, Oasis, Travis Scott, Stevie Wonder, and Tatsuro Yamashita, Graphe continues to seek out sounds that can only be created in the now.
