Royvii
Born in Fukushima, Japan in 2007 and raised in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin, China, Royvii is an 18-year-old multilingual artist of ethnic Korean Chinese heritage. Growing up across 4 languages - Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English - Royvii draws naturally from a wide spectrum of sounds and cultures, spanning bedroom pop and R&B to Korean and U.S. hip-hop. Blending melancholic, sweet-toned melodies with fluid hip-hop flows, he moves seamlessly between introspective R&B and the forward-thinking sounds of New Jazz and PluggnB, shaping them into a sound that feels distinctly his own. His potential has already caught the attention of Reign, a producer known for his work with YZERR, who has praised the artistry of Royvii at an early stage in his career.
