This song "Enoshima-ru -Summer- Selector(REGGAE) Ver." was inspired by the way Takashi (REGGAE Selector t.k.s.), a reggae selector (DJ) born in Osaka of Ainu descent, who is currently active mainly in Kanagawa and Tokyo, selects songs. In the future, he will be a great help to liven up everyone who visits the Shonan area!

The subject of the song is Enoshima in Shonan, a divine presence on Enoshima (Enoshima, Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture) at the center of the Shonan Coast, which faces Sagami Bay and stretches from the western part of Kanagawa Prefecture (Yugawara and Odawara) to the Miura Peninsula in the east. The gods of Enoshima are the three goddesses enshrined at Enoshima Shrine, and the island is widely worshipped as the god of the sea, the god of water, and the god who is said to bring happiness and wealth to people. This song was inspired by Enoshima, the island of the gods.

I, Katsuji Iijima, a songwriter and composer, was born in Midorigaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo in 1970 and am now 55 years old. I have had experience in dance and DJing since I was young, and perhaps as an extension of that, I began writing songs in earnest in 2024 to realize the joy of creating music.

Through this activity, I sincerely pray for world peace and sincerely hope that it will lead to a world without war (conflict) even a little.
