Born in Japan and having spent his childhood in the U.S. and Cambodia, Kingo is a hip-hop artist whose multicultural upbringing has shaped his unique artistic perspective. Armed with bilingual lyricism in both Japanese and English, he continues to carve out his own distinctive style.

Nearly three years after his previous EP, Kingo returns with his second EP, "cheqpoint.". Consisting of six tracks, the project captures where he stands today as he navigates a new environment and a new stage of life while continuing to pursue his artistic vision. Built around club-driven production and deeply personal lyricism drawn from his own experiences, the EP presents the most authentic portrait of Kingo to date.

Released as the advance single from the EP, "push me now." (Prod. by PALMYRA) explores the pressure, frustration, and reality of chasing success when results don't always come as expected, while expressing the determination to keep pushing forward through self-belief. The track also showcases Kingo's technical prowess, culminating in a rapid-fire climax that recalls the dynamic delivery of artists such as Eminem and Busta Rhymes.
