THE RAPTOLS channel raw, unfiltered emotion into a volatile blend of rock 'n' roll and punk urgency. Unconcerned with trends, the Tokyo-based band delivers lyrical intensity, straight-ahead power, and a shout-driven vocal style that cuts straight to the nerve.
Since 2025, they have released a new single roughly every two months, steadily building momentum. Their latest track, "Bloody Box," marks their fifth consecutive release.
While earlier material leaned heavily into rock 'n' roll and punk, with touches of metal and hard rock, "Bloody Box" expands their palette, weaving ska and reggae influences into the mix. The addition of keyboards further deepens the texture, adding a new dimension to the band's evolving sound.
Frontman Shun Takemura's impassioned vocals and guitarist Kotaro Suzuki's razor-sharp riffs remain central, but the band pushes boldly into new territory with this release.
A release show is set for March 20, 2026 (Fri., public holiday) at Rokudemonai Yoru in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, with additional releases and tour dates planned.
