Ruka
Ruka is a new generation singer and filmmaker based in Queensland, Australia. In 2017, he gave up his dream of becoming a singer in his hometown of Mie Prefecture and moved to Tokyo. Inspired by the creative videos he watched on YouTube, he traveled not only in Japan but also around the world and quickly became a hot topic as a filmmaker. In June 2023, he decided to study abroad, which he had longed to do. One month before studying abroad, he released his first single "Decision," a song about his struggles and hopes for his life. He has gone far beyond the boundaries of creating videos as a filmmaker, and has also demonstrated his versatile appeal as a singer, something he had once almost given up on at the time. Heavily influenced by foreign culture and electro-pop music, he has established his own genre of music with his sweet voice and song tones that transcend Asian genres and styles, despite being Japanese. He is currently gaining popularity on YouTube for his lifestyle of studying abroad in Australia.
