  Born in 2006 and raised in Tokyo, Lil Lahske is an artist and director. The name Lil Lahske came from a middle school friend who had trouble pronouncing his real name, Daisuke, and kept calling him Lahske, Lahske instead. He turns anything that happens to him into music. From love songs and life to social issues, his favorite foods, and completely random thoughts, anything he experiences has the potential to be transformed into art. His song titles range from little happiness and anymore to Ramen Tastes Better with Vinegar and I Wanna Eat Aburi Karubi. He insists he is not joking. Probably. On his 20th birthday, he released a 20 track album titled Kishotenketsuki. It is not a quantity over quality situation. Probably. Born in Haneda, working in Haneda. He plans to eventually pay his own way through university, having entered the workforce straight out of high school. Apparently, he still has a lot left to learn. His story is best understood through his music video Shinsa. After his day job, he also works as an Uber Eats delivery rider, saving money for university. Music is not the only thing he creates. He also directs, shoots, and edits his own music videos, pursuing a style that expresses the world of each song through both music and visuals. His experiences and dreams are all packed into his music. If a Lil Lahske song ever makes you think, even for a moment, maybe I should try something too, then that alone gives the music meaning.
