I hate myself, but I don't want to die
I hate myself, but I don't want to die
You hate myself, but I don't mind your lie
You hate myself, but I don't mind your life
Oh,hell Oh,hell
I hate myself, but I don't want to die
I hate myself, but I don't want to die
Say, what?
You hate myself, but I don't mind your lie
You hate myself, but I don't mind your life
Finally, silence will be winner
Finally, innocence will be killer
I wake up every night but I don't want it
And I meet best friend, he's in my brain
Another night is the same, gutting my heart
Just wanna stay in the dream
What the hell has come to me?
If I say the past way was all wrong
You may feel cheated and gone wrong
I don't mind about your feeling
And you will know my pain was so strong
All I want to say is over
Cause I am the your last person
You may feel uncomfortable
But I don't mind how you feel
Cause I paid so much debt with my heart
In my heart
In my head
In my hell

Wasting Time
The Last Person
The Last Person, a solo artist who calls himself "the most overlooked man," has poured into this work a decade's worth of conflict he could never put into words.
Record of Inner Conflict is a fiercely personal, fully self-produced album that took over two years to complete. From recording and performance to mixing, mastering, and artwork, every detail was created alone in a bedroom studio. The result is a raw sonic self-portrait, unfiltered by compromise.
Musically, it echoes Oasis and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, with shadows of shoegaze and grunge woven in. But the essence of this album lies not in genre, but in its refusal to flinch. With no expectations placed upon him, The Last Person turns inward, transforming silence into melody and uncertainty into noise.
From the defiant opener "I Wasted 20s" to the reflective closer "Wasting Time," the album journeys through anger, loss, healing, and reluctant self-acceptance. Every track is a step forward, every lyric a confrontation with the self.
This is not music that begs to be understood or loved. It is a document - a survival record. True alternative rock in the deepest sense, Record of Inner Conflict is proof that even the quietest voice can carve out a space of its own.
Artist Profile
The Last Person
The Last Person is a Tokyo-based DIY solo artist whose name means "the person least likely to." He handles the entire production process on his own, from songwriting, performance, and mixing to mastering and artwork. After releasing his debut album, Record of Inner Conflict, which documented over a decade of personal struggles, he began his next phase of activity by revisiting a demo he wrote at age 20. This resulted in "The Last Person's Theme," a song serving as his personal theme, completed in a way that feels like a collaboration across time. His sound is centered on alternative rock, incorporating elements that range from the floating textures of shoegaze to the raw impulse of garage rock. Because he controls the entire production process, he is also able to undertake unique experiments, such as releases that explore the acoustics of the streaming age.
