The album title "Michi (The Path)" represents the journey of human life.
Within each person, the soul and the mind exist as separate entities. When people struggle in life, they tend to make judgments based on the mind, which operates through dualistic thinking-such as "like or dislike," "this is good, but that is bad." Because the mind is constantly changing depending on external circumstances, it easily gives rise to suffering, sadness, and worry, making it difficult to find true solutions.
However, the soul does not perceive things in a dualistic way. Instead, it embodies a sense of balance known as "chūyō" (the middle way), where harmony itself is the single answer. All answers and true happiness are hidden within the soul.
For those of us living in the modern world, the integration of the soul and the mind through harmony is essential. Through this integration, all answers can be discovered, and by finding what we truly wish to pursue and experience in life, we can encounter a world of deep joy from the bottom of our hearts.
This CD is designed so that by listening to it repeatedly, the "otodama" (spirit of sound) will naturally bring the soul and mind into unity. Through this deep compassion, you will gradually become able to receive the true voice of your heart.
