Japanese electronic duo Mikeneko Homeless and longtime collaborator lulu have released their long-awaited debut joint album "Time to Love," available now on all major streaming platforms. The album, which released on November 2, 2022, brings together a full-length culmination of smooth and sentimental songs, building upon the image the collaborators have developed since the release of their seminal "This Christmas Lovely Day" EP in 2015.

Consisting of both new and familiar songs, "Time to Love" is a jetcoaster of emotions; unafraid of switching up on its sound palette to set the mood for lulu's bittersweet vocals. Discussing both the highs and lows of everyday life, the album glides around genres with a mid-tempo approach to craft a complete story proving the highlight of both Mikeneko Homeless and lulu's long-standing collaborative works.

Mikeneko Homeless, consisting of members hironica and mochilon, started working together in the late 2000s. They became staples of Japan's burgeoning netlabel community, releasing music through Maltine Records and eventually writing for artists such as J-pop chart-toppers Sexy Zone, rising rap unit chelmico, and many more.

lulu started sharing original music recorded entirely on her iPhone to SoundCloud in the early part of the 2010s. Her distinct voice and unique perspective on lyric writing made her stand out, and she began collaborating with artists such as Mikeneko Homeless in the years after, along with rising acts like Shin Sakiura and Afro Parker.
