  • BAKU

    Born 1978 in Tokyo, Japan, he is a DJ, trackmaker, producer, and turntablist. He started his career as a DJ at the age of 16, and in the late 1990s, he played in the hip-hop group Hannya with Hannya and Rumi. After the group disbanded, he released the mixtape "KAIKOO WITH SCRATCH 1999" on DIS-DEFENSE DISC, a label he founded himself in 1999. In 2001, he participated in the DJ KRUSH NIKE "Presto" music project. In 2005, he released the DVD "KAIKOO", a film documenting BAKU and Tokyo's independent music scene, and in 2006, he released the album "SPINHEDDZ" (which was released in 2008 on N2O Records by DJ Starscream of Slipknot and Omar of MarsVolta). In 2006, he released the album "SPINHEDDZ" (which was also released in the US by N2O Records, led by DJ Starscream of Slipknot and Omar of MarsVolta), and in 2008, he released his second album "DHARMA DANCE" from POPGROUP and the song "AKBAH ATTACK" was used in the Cannes Film Festival. In 2009, he released "THE 12JAPS" featuring 12 of Japan's leading rappers, and the official mix CD "JAPADAPTA". In 2010, BAKU initiated and organized "KAIKOO POPWAVE FESTIVAL'10", an urban music festival organized by "POPGROUP" at the special stage of Harumi Cruise Terminal in Tokyo, attracting more than 10,000 people over two days, making it the largest scale event ever held at the terminal since 2005. In 2012, he formed a unit with KYONO (ex.THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS) to perform at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'12. They have appeared on stage 5 times as DJ at FUJIROCK since their first appearance in '0 3) Participated in the movie "009 RE:CYBORG" tribute. TURNTABLE RIDER, which he was in charge of the soundtrack, won an international award at the LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARD "Film Category". In 2015, he won the OUTLOOK FESTIVAL JAPAN 2015 SOUND CLASH using KOHH and FIREBALL's DUB PLATE. In the same year, he released his album "NEO TOKYO RAVE STYLE", which became a hot topic with the participation of UK artists such as Ryo (Crystal Lake), Benji (Skindred), and RAGGA TWINS. He established KAIKOO Co., Ltd. in 2018. In the same year, he joined the Turntable Orchestra formed by US and Japanese artists at the Louvre Abu-Dhabi and performed for two days. In 2019, he was in charge of the music for the movie "VIDEOPHOBIA" directed by Daisuke Miyazaki. Album "K.A.I.K.O.O" was released in 2020, and in 2021, he provided the Remix for the official Pokémon Youtube channel DJ Pikachu Lightning. Remix provided.

  • Shing02

    Born in Tokyo, raised in Tanzania and England, Shing02 came up in the independent SF Bay Area scene in the early '90s. Over the course of his independent career starting in 1995, he has collaborated with various DJs and musicians, most notably with the late Japanese producer Nujabes. As the inventor of the Vestax Faderboard, he toured around for a few years with the free-jazz trio, Kosmic Renaissance. Recently he has released the FTTB mixCD series with DJ Icewater and "1200 Ways" with DJ $hin. Shing02 directed four short films, including "Bustin'" (2014) and "The Divider" (2015).

  • REATMO

    REATMO is a Japanese Human Beatboxer / multivocalist gaining a reputation for his dynamic live presence. While running Ableton Live, Lemur app on iPad, and a Korg MIDI controller, he can loop and manipulate sounds made entirely by his mouth. REATMO won the Beatbox Battle Championship in Boston at the age of 19, and he hasn't looked back since. After years of perfecting skills and incorporating new technology for a live setup, REATMO is ready to bring you a unique audio-visual experience. Recent highlights include a performance at MIHARAYASUHIRO AW15-16 runway in Paris, and connecting with Maroon 5 who reached out after listening to Reatmo's cover versions.
