Sunrise

starclime

Golden light on frozen streams

Silent whispers, distant dreams

Snowflakes drift, they touch the tide

Morning glows on waters wide

Soft reflections, pale and bright

Shadows fade in newborn light

Through the cold, the river sings

Carving paths for brighter things

Sunrise on the river flows

Through the ice, the daylight glows

Winter holds, yet time moves free

Guiding every wave to sea

Crystal air and trembling reeds

Frosted glass on willow leaves

Footprints lost along the shore

But the current finds its course

Soft reflections, pale and bright

Shadows fade in newborn light

Through the cold, the river sings

Carving paths for brighter things

Sunrise on the river flows

Through the ice, the daylight glows

Winter holds, yet time moves free

Guiding every wave to sea

Though the frost may grip the ground

Still the water moves around

Even through the longest night

Every stream will find its light

Sunrise paints the sky in gold

Let the river’s story unfold
