青木ロビン(downy、zezeco)が制作し中尾憲太郎(Crypt City、勃殺戒洞、ex.NUMBER GIRL)がベース、BOBO(MIYAVI、TK from 凛として時雨等)がドラム、ケンゴマツモト(THE NOVEMBERS)がギターを務めたタイトでエッジーなオルタナ曲「火曜日の雨」をリードトラックに、硬軟織り交ぜバラエティに富んだアルバムとなる。同じく青木ロビン制作のエレクトロな歌物「KAMONE」、RAYではお馴染みのハタユウスケ(cruyff in the bedroom)制作のシューゲイズ3作品「秘密がいたいよ」、「ディス・イズ・ノット・ア・ラブソング」、「ため息をさがして」、ハタと同じくRAYのメインライターである管梓(エイプリルブルー)が制作したRAYの次のステージを開く「フロンティア」、「Lightwave」、ishikawa(死んだ僕の彼女)が手がけたパワーポップ曲「マテリエ」、Coupleが制作した四つ打ちポップス「Bloom」、Mav(ex.For Tracy Hyde)渾身の変拍子オルタナ曲「読書日記」と、多様な制作陣・楽曲が並んだ。

Artist Profile

  • RAY

    A female idol group unveiled on 5/1/2019. The concept of the group is "fusion of different fields" and "overwhelming soloism". So far, they have received music contributions from creators of shoegaze and alternative genres such as Ringo Deathstarr, Yusuke Hata of cruyff in the bedroom, Azusa Suga of For Tracy Hyde, and ishikawa of shinda boku no kanojo. In 2021/5, they released their first album "Pink", which incorporates shoegaze, emo, melodic punk, IDM, and chaotic hardcore. The album was ranked No. 1 on AppleMusic in Finland, Poland, Slovenia, and the Philippines, and also ranked in many other countries around the world.The conceptual one-man live held at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM on 2022/1 was a great success with pros and cons. In 2022/5, they released their conceptual second album "Green". 2022/9, Ami, Mao Tsukiumi, and Mikoto Tsumugi joined, and are currently active as a five member group.
