    "MOKU" is a musical duo comprising pianist Mamoru Motooka and Japanese taiko drums Akira Sakaue. With the piano weaving delicate melodies and the Japanese taiko drums resonating like a heartbeat, their unique sound-where stillness and movement, yin and yang intertwine-offers a contemporary expression of Japanese aesthetics. Their compositions, which combine improvisation with structural beauty, span a wide range from lyrical ballads to powerful, up-tempo pieces.
