Okinawa-based sound collective Blue Knot. releases its debut single, "ViENTO". Blue Knot., consisting of K'z Tyler (rapper, singer, director) and Mahae (rapper, DJ, beatmaker), unveils its first single, "ViENTO". Blending influences from Jazz, House, UK Garage, and Hip Hop, the track explores themes of "wind" and "inner conflict." Set against a mysterious and melancholic soundscape, a quiet yet undeniable passion burns beneath the surface. Centered around the phrase "New Feeling," K'z Tyler reflects on staying grounded in his roots and beliefs amid constant change. Meanwhile, Mahae captures the tension between ideals and reality through sharp and honest lyricism. For those who continue moving forward despite uncertainty, "ViENTO" arrives as a wind at their back. Alongside the release, an official music video directed by longtime collaborator Groot Palette will premiere simultaneously.
Veiled in Blue. Not a Genre. A Knot. Blue Knot. is a Sound Collective from Okinawa formed by Kz Tyler and Mahae. From production and mixing to mastering and artwork, every detail is crafted in-house.
Artist / Producer from Okinawa, Japan K'z Tyler began his musical career as a co-founder of the alternative hip-hop crew 9tree. In 2025, he officially launched his solo career. Unbound by genre and driven by a desire to confront real emotions, he continues to pursue a unique and deeply personal form of expression. As a member of 9tree, he quickly gained experience performing at festivals and events across Japan, including an appearance at the Ringo Music Festival 2023 in the group's first year and back-to-back performances at CHOSYU BEATS 2023 and CHOSYU BEATS 2024. In 2024, he produced the charity song project "Akari", created in response to the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. The song featured a ten-artist mic relay including NAGAN SERVER, Keigo, 11, and KIKUMARU, drawing widespread attention. As a solo artist, he has already expanded his reach by contributing to Dongurizu's "WANI EP" and making guest appearances on various other artists' projects. In June 2025, he released his debut solo single, "Ashes Bloom." On May 27, 2026, he unveiled his long-awaited first mixtape, "Vein." Alongside the release, he premiered the music video for its lead track, "Utage (feat. Joe Cupertino)," depicting a grand party set in a traditional Japanese house that gradually descends into a chaotic celebration transcending eras and genres, perfectly reflecting the energy of the song itself.
