Inspired by South Africa's magnetic 3Step sound, "Kaiwu" takes its name from the Japanese word for the Calla Lily-originally from South Africa, brought to Japan in the 19th century, and continuing to bloom across the country today.
The track fuses Africa's spiritual rhythms with the mystical essence of the East, creating a truly unique musical experience.

    Amy A is a Japanese singer-songwriter and producer creating electronic music shaped by the influences of soul, Latin, and jazz. From 2005 to 2016, she was the lead vocalist of the 1970s-inspired funk and soul band Q.A.S.B. She launched her solo career in 2014, releasing Spanish-language salsa and reggaeton songs. Since 2024, Amy A has operated as a fully self-produced artist, handling everything from songwriting and arrangement to vocals and production. Her sound seamlessly blends electronic music with the rich textures of soul, Latin, and jazz, all topped with sophisticated Japanese lyrics.
