This is the official image song for "First Step Gakuin," a comprehensive stage performance school that opened in April 2026 in the Tegata district of Akita City with the aim of supporting young talent as they take their "first step." Drawing on his own experience as a rap instructor, the artist infused the song with the significance of taking on challenges and the courage required to take that initial step toward one's dreams. It marks his first collaboration with ViryKnot, an Akita-born producer and guitarist known for creating numerous hit tracks. Set to a refreshing, upbeat guitar-driven sound, the song reveals a new side of Rakan.

Artist Profile

  • Rakan

    A rapper born in 1987 and hailing from Gojome Town, Akita Prefecture. He has produced tracks such as the official cheering song for the J.League club Blaublitz Akita and an original song for the Akita Trucking Association. To date, he has released a total of seven EPs and albums. In addition to working as a radio personality, he engages in speaking engagements and live performances at schools, special needs schools, and children's care facilities.
