After emerging as finalists from over 1,000 applicants at the "3rd Ongaku Shinkaron ~the battle~," the four-piece rock band "hollow me" stunned the judges with their eccentric arrangements and undeniable mastery.
Now, following a two-year hiatus, they are back with a highly anticipated new single.
Last year, We welcomed new member Hayate Nakamura (Key, Per), evolving into a more versatile and creative force. Our latest creation, "Baku (instrumental)," is the first instrumental track in their career and a direct result of this newfound synergy.
Embodying the "evolution" of hollow me, this track marks the perfect beginning of a bold new chapter for the band.
Formed in 2021 in the suburbs of Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. This alternative rock band consists of Tanaka Ryusei (vocals, guitar), Sato Hekinan (bass), Suzuki Norihiro (drums), and Nakamura Hayate (keyboards, percussion). The band name is taken from a song by Yura Yura Teikoku. All members were born in 2001. With a theme of exploring forgotten sounds from ancient Japan, and armed with a poisonous sound and pessimistic lyrics, they have steadily gained an audience, primarily in Tokyo's Shimokitazawa live music scene, since their inception. Just six months after forming, they won the inaugural grand prize in "michikai," an audition for university students only, sponsored by Waseda Music Records x SPACE SHOWER MUSIC. After releasing their second EP, "Nozoiteshimata," on December 7, 2022, through SPACE SHOWER NETWORKS, they began to actively produce music completely independently from 2023 onwards. In 2024, they won the grand prize in the opening act audition at the outdoor festival "hosioto'24" in Okayama Prefecture. In 2025, they were selected as one of the eight acts to perform in the final stage of the "3rd Music Deepening Theory ~the battle~," making a huge impact on the industry.
