She decided not to wait anymore, yet two cups still sit on the counter. This song is about washing just one of them, a small half-step forward.

The lyrics leave out explanations and offer only scents, colors, and light. When the voice stops, the Farfisa speaks: a soft morning tone, flickering light, a deep and trembling reluctance, a fast shivering heart, and an ending that never resolves. Drums and reverb are removed, so the organ's expressive range can be heard as it is.

A chromatic harmonica drifts through once, like an unfamiliar tune from someone outside the window. One breath of a different wind, so the song does not end too neatly.
