Crying For The Moon

楽曲 Cring For The Moon (無い物ねだり)は、いわゆる、アンチウォーナンバーである。
こんな今だからこそ、この楽曲がリスナーの胸に響くことを、そして未来の子供達が今の世代よりもよりクレバーに行動出来る様、また、彼らの生きるであろうこの地球上から人種、ジェンダー差別を無くす為の一ピースになることを切に願う。

Crying for the moon was created with a clear vision in mind. Using this vision as inspiration we wanted to showcase and further dig into the intentions behind the song. Hide expressed to us that he felt a very deep anger toward everything that was happening around the world and the evil side of humanity being the main focus of it all. His main goal for this song was for it to be an "Antiwar" track and that is exactly what we wanted to imply in our video with expressions of anger, despair and hedonism being met with the power of love.
We also enhanced different emotions and feelings through the usage of various colors throughout the video. These colors include;
Red. To showcase anger, power, energy and sinfulness. Red is also often used in relation to hate and evil, in this case hate towards inhumane acts and humanity’s stupidity. In some of the scenes we also wanted to use orange/a light red as a symbol of love. For example the scenes with the two girls, one being a stripper and the other being her audience, first indicates some sort of sinfulness but then shifts to the desire of feeling love. Even in places of hopelessness.
Green. Green is often associated with greed and jealousy which almost always occur when money is in involved. Money, power and politics are the three things that rule almost every aspect of society and is often misused by people of power. In one of our "green" scenes we showcase a dancer in a small, very confined space to represent how we (as the society) often feel stuck or trapped. The dancer also shows facial expressions of despair making us feeling like it is a silent call for help. We wanted it to look like he is forced to feelings of greed because of power, politics and money but is fighting against it and fighting for something greater as we can only change the world by starting with ourselves, the people of society.
Our main goal was for the viewers to feel empowered, to have a sense of hope and feeling like they belong. These feelings were represented through multiple scenes within the video. For example having two very different dancers of different color, race, gender and ethnicity come together as well as individuals showing care, support and love for one another throughout the video.
