Oh cool night

Hotaru is a quiet ballad by Appappa about a small light that keeps shining beneath a war torn sky. It reflects fading memories, a collapsing city, and a fragile hope that remains through the sorrow of the night.
Artist Profile
appapa
Appappa is an original music project formed in 2008. Moving freely across rock, pop, and comic songs, Appappa has built a unique style that blends playful energy with heartfelt emotion. With original lyrics, melodies, and vocals at its core, each song carries its own character, story, and sense of color. The project is also represented by its recovery song SMILE, which reflects the warmth, hope, and sincerity that run through its music. Since 2018, band activities have become largely inactive, but the music continues in a solo style, bringing Appappa's songs to listeners in a new form. With humor on the surface and genuine feeling underneath, Appappa continues to create music that is free, memorable, and full of heart.
