  Yusuke Tominaga - Official Biography Yusuke Tominaga is a multidisciplinary artist whose work speaks to the soul. Having survived a serious childhood illness, he dedicates his life to sharing the gift of music and inspiring others. His mission is to create a world where everyone can blossom in their own unique way and use their light to uplift others, creating a positive cycle of hope and compassion. Through performances and inspirational messages, he has reached over 100,000 children at schools, children's homes, and other institutions across Japan. He encourages children to embrace themselves as they are, recognize that their future can be shaped by their own choices, and nurture what they love to bring happiness to themselves and those around them. He also presents human rights concerts throughout Japan, combining music with personal stories and messages of hope. Tominaga has performed in Germany, China, South Korea, Thailand, and other countries. At LOVE TO NIPPON, a memorial event for the Great East Japan Earthquake held at Los Angeles Police Department headquarters, he performed as Japan's representative. He received the Kitakyushu Citizens' Cultural Encouragement Award in recognition of his achievements. His works include "Toi Koi no Monogatari," featured on NHK's Minna no Uta; "Himawari no Hana," the grand-prize-winning song in NHK Kitakyushu's 80th-anniversary KitaQ no Uta competition; "Ashita e no Tsubasa," featured in Kitakyushu's human rights education resource Inochi: Revised Edition, which received the Minister of Justice Award for Best Work; and "Hachigatsu no Sutajiamu," registered in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum's Peace Database. He has composed school anthems for four elementary and junior high schools and created three entrance songs for former Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada. At Wada's retirement game, Tominaga performed the entrance song live, a first in Japanese professional baseball, bringing the sold-out Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka to life as Wada took the mound for his final appearance. His songwriting credits include "Aiuta," featured on Minami Kizuki's album Gekka Bijin (Pony Canyon), and "Mitsumeau Dake de," written for South Korean pop-opera duo HUE and selected as the 60th-anniversary theme song for MBC Minami Nippon Broadcasting. He has also written and composed numerous songs for other artists. Tominaga has sung the Japanese national anthem at regular-season professional baseball games at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka 11 times, the most by any artist for the team. He also hosts Yusuke Tominaga no Nandemo Yusuke on CROSS FM, a long-running radio program now in its 12th year and celebrating its 600th broadcast. His releases include 19 original albums, five singles, and four DVDs. He is also the author of Jibun Jitsugenryoku: The Catch! (Genshisya Publishing). Tominaga serves as a Cultural Ambassador for Kitakyushu City, a Tourism Ambassador for Chikujo Town, and a Tourism Promotion Special Envoy for Hachioji. He graduated from the School of Commerce at Waseda University and is celebrating the 21st anniversary of his solo career.
