DRAFT is a song that explores what it truly means to be chosen.

There are moments when a name is called,
expectations rise, and a new path suddenly opens.
But being chosen does not guarantee success,
just as being overlooked does not mean failure.

Discovering talent and allowing that talent to flourish
are two different things.
Those who choose have a responsibility toward
the potential they recognize, while those who are chosen still have their own lives, decisions, and paths ahead of them.

A ranking,
evaluation, or decision made on a single day
cannot determine an entire future.
What matters is what happens afterward-what is developed,
what is achieved, and what remains.

Inspired by the world of sports drafts,
DRAFT expands the idea into the many moments of selection
and evaluation we encounter throughout life: careers,
opportunities, relationships, and unexpected encounters.

Hearing your name called is not the finish line.

It is where the real story begins.

Artist Profile

  • cigel

cigel cigel is a music creator based in Nagoya, Japan, and the founder of Re-Soul Music Project. Blending human emotion and creativity with AI, he creates music beyond the boundaries of genre. Life, work, love, family, challenges, setbacks, and new beginnings. Each song begins with a story from someone's life or an emotion born in a particular moment, transforming it into music. This journey has already grown into a catalog of more than 100 songs. Just as no two lives are exactly the same, no two songs are exactly the same. Explore the titles and find the one song among more than 100 that speaks to you right now. You may unexpectedly find a reflection of who you are today. And if you cannot find that song - let's create the one that speaks to you together. Beyond music, cigel also explores AI-powered music videos and visual storytelling, expanding stories from music into film and searching for new possibilities where sound, emotion, and imagery come together. Move Your Life. Move Your Soul.
