“Jounetsubito” – one of the signature songs of MINIMUM WAGE.
Originally released in 2003, the band re-recorded the track with the original members for the 2025 Revival version.
This song never had an official music video in the past, and this new MV brings its story to life for the first time.
It expresses the straight-forward emotions in the lyrics, the 20-year journey of the band, and who we are today.
The video was filmed at a school in Nagasaki, reflecting the atmosphere and message of the song.

  • MINIMUM WAGE

    MINIMUM WAGE is a rock band from Nagasaki, Japan, formed in 1999. As high school students they performed at Sky Jamboree in 2001, and made a major debut with Sony Music in 2003, releasing "Juunin Toiro" and "Jounetsubito". After pausing activities in 2005, the original members reunited in 2025 and completed "Revival" are-recorded set of their signature songs with an updated, guitar-driven sound. After reuniting in 2025, their independently released single "Revival " entered the Oricon Weekly Chart at No.49, ranked No.6 on both the Rock and Indie charts, and reached No.40 on the Billboard Japan Top Singles chart.
