コーヒーを愛する全ての人へ、上質な時間を。Mellow Monk Connectionが約9ヶ月ぶりにリリースする3rd Singleは拘りのトラック、拘りのリリック、拘りのコンセプトを匠の技でブレンドした極上の珈琲アンセム。ビル・エヴァンスのエレピを苦味際立つトラックに抽出した見事なhAtchの腕前と、まるでコーヒー哲学とも言うべき3sykのリリックが見事にJazz Hip Hopトラックとしてブレンドされており、聴く者それぞれのコーヒーへの想いを喚起させる一曲となっている。それは、まるでカフェインの覚醒作用のよう。

これ以上無いミニマムな視点で語られるコーヒー譚は怒りでも鼓舞でもなく、どこまでも冷静な視点でコーヒーについて描写し尽くしており、取り上げる要素は昭和のTVCMのキャッチコピーから昨今のカフェ氾濫まで多岐に渡る徹底ぶりだ。

Mellow Monk Connection
Mellow Monk Connection is a music project team formed in 2015. The sound created by the three members, track maker hatch, MC/vocalist 3syk, and vocalist PG, is a mix of various elements such as Hip Hop, R&B, Rock, Pops, and Acid Jazz, blended together with a sense of "Mellow". Sophisticated tracks, lyrical flow, and melodious harmonies. The interplay of these creates a "sound connection" that transcends genres. Another characteristic of the group is the wide range of collaborations that utilize the connections between musicians that each member has cultivated over their long musical careers. Representative songs include "LET'S GET PARTY" featuring TO-Ka & Bro.Hi, "Summer Time" in collaboration with E.P.O, and the conceptual EP "BC / AC ~Before COVID-19/After COVID-19~" released in 2020, and the group mainly distributes music digitally. Mellow Monk Connection continues to evolve at their own pace, unconstrained by scenes or trends, and will continue to captivate listeners with their unique musical style that is not limited to any particular genre.
