"Kotodama" is a mystical Japanese rock piece inspired by the ancient belief that words possess unseen power.
Words that encourage.
Words that wound.
Words that become prayers.
Words that become curses.
Since ancient times, people have believed
that language carries a force beyond what can be seen.
That force is known as Kotodama-
the spirit dwelling within words.
A story of voices that move hearts,
change destinies,
and are passed down across generations.
Kindness.
Sorrow.
Hope.
Regret.
All become words,
and find their way into someone else's heart.
A single note rides upon the wind.
A single prayer crosses the night.
And in time, it illuminates a new future.
Voices will someday fade away.
Yet the wishes carried within them never disappear.
They become poetry.
They become song.
And continue to shine within another soul.
Until the day their resonance
shakes this world
and journeys onward into the future.
