An acoustic instrumental song by Wednesday Wonderland., a lo-fi electro dream pop project based in Tokyo, led by musician Recrown. The track features live instruments and beats that sound like they are coming from an old, worn-out radio, accompanied by whistling and someone's distant singing voice, evoking fleeting memories.
A solo project launched in Tokyo in 2025. Wednesday Wonderland. creates music by blending hazy, nostalgic electronic textures reminiscent of electronica and dream pop with full band arrangements, accompanied by distinctive, fragile machine like vocals. The project has also released numerous instrumental tracks influenced by ambient music and LoFi HipHop. Moving freely between band oriented songwriting and beat driven production, these two approaches remain closely connected and form a singular musical world. Every stage of production, from recording to mixing and mastering, is handled independently in a bedroom studio. Music videos and artwork are also primarily created independently. Wednesday Wonderland. currently performs mainly in Tokyo with a large scale live band of up to eight members. Despite operating as a completely independent DIY project, the 2nd EP Wherever, Whenever, Whatever, Forever and the 4th EP A Minimal Interlude both reached No. 1 on the Japanese iTunes Instrumental Albums chart. The project has also appeared on numerous official Spotify playlists, released a collaborative work with the acclaimed Japanese label Lonely Girl, and surpassed 13,000 followers on Instagram. Wednesday Wonderland. continues to attract growing attention in Japan and overseas.
