  Kongie was born in 1998, raised in Jōtō, Osaka, Japan. Jōtō is a ward where people like to live in typical lives, easy to access to downtowns, doesn’t have specific things. He grew up with family problem, discrimination which makes him being different to others. In 2018, he decided to master his English in Australia. After coming back from Australia, he started his music carrier as “Lil Kong” in Osaka in 2019, also started working at cloth shop DISSIDENT as a sales staff and model for their promotion. In 2020, He released 1st EP “The Gate of Blooming”. The song in the EP “NCDMD” was viral. After that, he joined the crew SGB(Salu Gorila Brothers). Through making an album with them, he established his J-rap style. His 2nd release in 2021 “The Gate of Blooming 2” was the first opportunity to do mellow song and it became a bridge to the new album “CRESCENT”. His style as a bilingual rapper shows the world where he belongs and tells people all around the world, what is really happening in the country which is known as highly rated of committing suicide. The point you should concentrate on his music is the range of his voice, also unique flow with meaningful and thoughtful lyrics, variety of sound coming out from 2 different languages. He expresses WHAT IS HUMAN BEING as one of Z generation. He will be definitely an artist who unites Eastern and Western. Keep your eyes on Kongie, you will know what is legit.
