    ZED A 17-year-old hip-hop artist facing loneliness head-on ZED began making music with just a smartphone in 8th grade. Struggles at home, the pain of a breakup, swirling jealousy, regret, and urges toward substance use all pulled him deeper into music. His songs capture the raw emotions of being a teenager battling depression, pouring unfiltered darkness into every lyric. He does not shy away from the thought of wanting to die. Instead, he turns it into sound. This music is not made to be liked. It is made to survive. But somehow, his voice reaches others, cutting deep into the hearts of those who suffer too.
