音で風景をスケッチするビートメイカーTobba Ranksが、5thアルバム『Slow Dance』をリリース。本作は、夜をテーマにしたメロウなインストゥルメンタル・アルバムであり、静寂の中に滲むビートと、流れるようなメロディが交差する一枚となっている。

Sound Sketcher Painting Scenes with Beats Turning Landscapes into Loops King of Mellow. Originally from Takachiho and currently based in Nobeoka, Miyazaki, Tobba Ranks is a beatmaker and DJ who crafts an atmospheric worldview through deep grooves and refined sound design. Drawing on influences from Hip-Hop, Dub, and Ambient music, his instrumentals paint sonic scenery, weaving soundscapes that resonate within the depths of memory. His signature track, "enCity Blues" reached #2 on the iTunes Instrumental Chart, while "Slow Dance" charted at #4. He also garnered significant attention for producing "Ayahawa"a charity song for the Noto Peninsula featuring Keyco, Pushim, and COMACHI. The track was notably performed at Fuji Rock Festival 2025. In 2024, he founded his own label, groovement. Under the theme of "Music that accompanies daily life" the label engages in multifaceted creative expression, including video production, media management, and exhibitions. Expanding his vision further, he is launching a new project, M.B.Collective, in December 2025.
