"The Man with a Past" is the first single from Hoimo.
A song driven by a groove that seems to drift through the lowlands.
The song title is an homage to the title of a film directed by Aki Kaurismäki.

Artist Profile

Hoimo
Hoimo is a three-piece psychedelic band formed in Tokyo at the end of 2024. Drawing from psychedelic rock, krautrock, soul music, bossa nova, outsider music, and whatever else happens to fall into their orbit, they pack it all into a strange box with a peculiar mix of humor and pathos. In 2026, Hoimo released their 1st EP "Thirsty", through their independent label, Izuko Records.
