Flame

This song was written around the theme of an unextinguishable will within oneself which I describe as a flame. Rather than following answers given by others I focused on expressing the impulse and belief that rise from within. I intentionally chose words that convey essence and determination instead of flashy expressions so that a quiet but persistent strength can be felt.

In the lyrics I do not deny real emotions such as loneliness conflict and betrayal but instead portray them as fuel that drives a person forward. The line that the flame never lies represents the idea that ones true feelings and nature cannot be deceived. I also included the concept of a Japanese spirit to reflect a kind of strength that exists within calmness and an unbreakable core.

Overall the song expresses the strength of a person who rises again and again and the determination to stake everything on the present moment. I created it so that listeners can connect their own inner flame to the message.
