We are quimaglet, a five-member band formed in 2024 by guitarist Yuma Atsuta, who gathered members from his university's music club. We keep singing with the hope of being there for you worn out by today's chaotic world. Through our music, we want to stand by the side of people who are gathering the courage to step away from their rush of everyday life, or who are already catching their breath. quimaglet is derived from the Japanese word for whim. We blend jazz, funk, and classical influences, each member bringing their musical background. True to our name, the personalities of each member mix whimsically, incorporating pop elements. Our genre-free and diverse music is characterized by song structures that are unconstrained by stereotypes, which make our live performances truly dynamic and engaging.
