-Noriko Satomi who has been running as a top jazz violinist Japan for more than 15 years. This album is filled with the outstanding performance techniques cultivated at Tokyo University of the Arts and the jazz groove cultivated through more than 200 live performances a year. A full lineup of 12 songs, 6 original songs and 6 jazz standards. The improvisational performance with the jazz players "Project N." who represent the Japan who solidifies the side is just like a live performance. It is a groundbreaking work that breaks the conventional concept of the violin.

Artist Profile

  • Noriko Satomi

    Graduated From Tokyo University of the Arts. I was active in the orchestra pit of Shiki Theater Company's Lion King. Am I going to die just playing songs written by other people... I don't like that kind of thing. On February 27, 2019, I released "A Love Supreme" .Received the 2019 Jazz Japan Award High Sound Quality Software Award. On April 28, 2021, the CD "Duke String Quartet", which arranged Duke Ellington's number for string quartet, was released. As one of the few jazz violin teachers in Japan, I am also focusing on nurturing juniors. As a composer of commercials, I won the ACC Award for works such as "Nippon Ham", "Lotte Choco Pie", and "Yomeishu". I participated in songs by m-flo, TOKU, etc. as a string arranger.
