Formed in 2009, the 13-piece rock 'n' roll orchestra The R.O.X & GWO releases their powerful album, "Black Group. Continuing Rock 'n' Roll, All of It." It condenses the band's tumultuous three years.
Under the leadership of leader The R.O.X, the band's history and resolve are vividly etched into the songs they've crafted through encounters and partings with numerous members, including deaths, departures, and new members joining and leaving.
In addition to classic hits like "Dreams, Friends, Rock 'n' Roll" and "Tokyo Banquet Perfect Night," as well as the re-recorded, breathed-in-new "Black Group," the album also features new tracks exclusive to the album.
We believe that our sound, which is centered around rock but transcends genres like jazz, dance, hardcore, reggae, and folk, is a testament to our unique challenges and evolution.
Led by The R.O.X, this is one of the world's largest 13-member rock and roll orchestras. Their genres are non-genre, encompassing punk, blues, folk, country, metal, jazz, reggae, Irish, dance, funk, and more. Their wide range of genres makes their live performances exceptional. They are a rock band that's been going strong, with solo shows at Shibuya Club Quattro in 2013, 2023, and 2026 (planned), Shibuya WWW in 2019, and Shimokitazawa Shangri-La in 2025. The band is comprised of a large number of kind-hearted members who readily respond to leader R.O.X's outrageous demands. They have decided to disband after their performance at the Nippon Budokan in 2029. Whether they continue or not, they will disband; everything for these past three years has been for the sake of music.
