Sakurako

"Sakurako" is the name I gave to someone I could never quite define-
the "you" I find myself remembering every time spring comes around.

Even feelings that ended without a proper goodbye
gradually fade into memories as time passes.
And yet, whenever the cherry blossoms bloom,
there's someone I still softly call out to in the depths of my heart.

The emotions I could never touch,
the regrets I couldn't put into words,
the scent of a spring I can never return to.

Vague, fleeting-yet undeniably real.
I chose to name those feelings "Sakurako."
