W.A.S.H.I is a character driven music project from Hokkaido Japan. Built around a bald eagle inspired original character the project combines music visual storytelling and character based entertainment. Created by writer Takanashi Washi W.A.S.H.I uses AI assisted creation as a creative partner while focusing on human emotions imperfections and storytelling. The debut single Washi WASHI blends Japanese folk punk alternative rock and festival style singalong energy. Behind its humorous and playful world is a story about facing insecurity failure and everyday struggles while still choosing to move forward. W.A.S.H.I is not a perfect hero. It represents the part of everyone that falls struggles laughs and keeps flying anyway. Through music characters and visual expression W.A.S.H.I aims to create a new emotional entertainment experience for the social media era.
