Minami Hazuki sang the theme song "COBRA" for the TV anime "SPACE COBRA" that aired in 1982. The anime, based on the original work by Buichi Terasawa, and the theme song are still popular today.

  • Minami Hazuki

    Born in Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture. On March 13, 2009, she made her CD debut with "Koi no Uranai Kakure Tori / Kaikyo," and in November of the same year, she held her "Hazuki Minami First Concert" at the Sawarabi Community Hall in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture. In November 2010, she made her major debut with the release of "Onna de Gozansu / Akagaki Genzo" from King Records. In January 2020, she made a firm decision to move from Niigata to Tokyo, and after a dramatic encounter with producer Sanshiro Iwao, on June 23, 2021, she released her first single with Teichiku Records, "Yurusanai de... Nee" (c/w "Furusato Bojo"). In September 2022, her first global strategic song, "Rainy Bus Station," was distributed to 185 countries worldwide through "TuneCore Japan," Japan's largest music distribution service. On August 30, 2023, she launched her new label "HM Music Japan" and released the CD single "Rainy Bus Station." Her catchphrase is "Magical Voice." She is also a goodwill ambassador for Minamiuonuma City. Her first globally distributed single, "Rainy Bus Station," reached number 1 on the music video charts twice. Her second globally distributed single, "Kaze no Tokyo," ranked in 8 countries. Her third globally distributed single, "Magic Drops ~Thank You~," ranked in 19 countries. Her fourth globally distributed single, "Forever, I'm Twenty Years Old." Her fifth globally distributed single, "Love is a Wonderful Showtime." Her sixth globally distributed single, "Cobra." Her seventh globally distributed single, "Rose Perfume." Her eighth globally distributed single, "The Last Stop at Otaru Station."
