Are you chasing a dream?

When I wrote these lyrics, I had just been rejected as a lyricist and was on the verge of giving up on my dream.

At that time, I came across a series called "Baby Steps."

And yes, I know what you're thinking...

"Wait, that's not soccer!"
You're absolutely right.

But after watching it, I realized something.

Maybe dreams aren't meant to be given up on after all.

That realization became the foundation of these lyrics.

The opening song, "Loser." is an anthem for those who refuse to give up on their dreams.

The ending song was inspired by "Uma Musume" and the feeling that

"Those who dare to dream are already winning."

And then there is

"One Small Step."

What I wanted to express through this work is the meaning of continuing to chase a dream.

But honestly...

Maybe there is no grand meaning.

No matter how deeply I think about it,

I always arrive at the same answer.

Because I love it.

That's all.

So I took the thing I've loved my entire life-soccer-

and turned it into a story.

If you'd like,

I hope you'll watch it.

And if this story can encourage you to take even one small step toward your own dream,

that would make me truly happy.
