I originally set out to write a song that sounded like a nursery rhyme, but before I knew it, it had turned into a psycho-horror track. You often hear stories from girls worrying that their boyfriends might be cheating or seeing another woman, don't you? You hear plenty of messages like that from women on the radio-though I'm sure men have their moments too.
So, I wrote this song to give those girls' curses a chance to come true. Cheating is just gross-the fact that his desire is directed at another woman, the lack of self-control, and the sloppy execution that makes it impossible to hide. And don't get me started on the "men are animals" or "hunting instinct" excuses. Are you stuck in the Stone Age? If that's the case, go out and hunt naked. People talk about young people losing interest in romance or rising rates of singlehood, but honestly? It's no surprise. After all, AI and 2D men don't cheat. But I digress.
Nights alone feel long, so you fill the void with someone else. What if that's what your boyfriend is doing? What if that's the cycle he's stuck in? Consider this a little mischief on a full-moon night. Now, there's no getting away...
