YONU is a Korean born singer and artist based in Tokyo. Since making his debut in Korea in 2011, he has expanded his musical career into Japan through original releases, solo concerts, media appearances, and collaborations with Japanese artists and performers. Blending rock, pop, and ballad, YONU combines the melodic sensitivity of J Pop with the emotional intensity of Korean vocal music. His greatest strengths are his powerful yet nuanced voice and a live performance style built around genuine emotional connection with the audience. His Japanese original song Kakehashi reflects one of the central themes of his music, connecting people through music. At the heart of the music of YONU is the desire to connect people to people, countries to countries, and hearts to hearts. His artist message is Find Your Light. Through his music, YONU hopes to create moments where people can smile, cry, and rediscover the light within themselves, while continuing to share new musical stories from Tokyo.
