Formed in November 2021, SIGHTBACKS are a loud rock band who began performing in earnest in February 2022, centered on Tokyo's live house scene. Their one-of-a-kind sound blends kaleidoscopic, ever-shifting song structures with vivid, danceable melodies as colorful as a 24-color palette. Backed by acclaimed live performances, they quickly made a name for themselves in Tokyo and have since expanded their reach across Japan.

To date, the band has released four singles and two EPs, including "Raptors" and "MISSINGLINK." They have shared the stage with renowned acts from Japan and abroad, opening at Fest of Extreme 2023 and JILUKA's MAD PIT FES, and appearing on the Japan tours of Novelists and VOLUMES.

"Is that who you are?" is their long-awaited first full-length album. Its 10 tracks include the pre-release singles "Enma" and "Living Dead!!", "DISSIDENCE" featuring their longtime ally TEL, "GYO-ZA-OH!", whose title alone made waves, and "You're you", a delicate and beautiful soundscape woven from acoustic guitar and piano. Moving freely between intensity and calm, playfulness and tension, and interlaced with instrumentals and interludes, the album plays as one continuous story from start to finish.
