Tokyo-based rapper SAWANO will release his third mixtape of 2026, *PLAY FOR WHAT?*, on October 21. This release focuses on SAWANO's concept of "play," depicting his time hanging out with friends and girls on the streets of Tokyo while also reflecting his perspective on how to view the past, present, and future. Of course, just like his previous two works, his humorous lyrics and solid rapping skills remain intact.
The cover art was created by the apparel brand sage, with SAWANO handling the mixing himself and iga handling the mastering.
