In the hush of silver air, I saw you standing there
Antlers like a crown of stars, frozen breath, a midnight flair
Lanterns glowed on distant snow
You moved where I could never go
Whispers in the pinewood trees
Tell of lives beneath the freeze
You were man, and you were grace
Vanishing without a trace
Male deer, in the light of December
Do you carry dreams we long to remember?
Running through the snow, so near
Yet always out of reach, my dear
A heartbeat echoing the sky
Where men and wild things unify
Tracks across the frost-wrapped ground
A myth in motion, never bound
I wore my fears like winter clothes
But you saw through what no one knows
Crystal silence, ancient songs
Tell me where the heart belongs
You, with eyes that never lied
Carved your truth and slipped outside
Male deer, in the hush of the night
Do you wander for wrong or for right?
Carrying hopes in velvet skin
With secrets kept so deep within
A shadow in the candle-glow
A man, a deer, I’ll never know
Maybe you were never real — just winter’s voice
A figment drawn in falling ice
But I still wait beneath the fir
For hooves that hum, for dreams that stir
Male deer, under silent stars
You danced between the world and ours
Fading with the northern wind
But in my heart, you still begin
A tale of wild, a trace of light—
A man who vanished into night
Male deer…
Just a name…
But I remember… every flame

Artist Profile
starclime
There are still landscapes in music that we have yet to see. starclime is a fourteen-member music project. Taking City Pop as one of its starting points, starclime moves freely through rock, jazz, soul, R&B,EDM, classical music, ambient, experimental music, hip-hop, and musical traditions from around the world. Rather than remaining within a single genre, the project absorbs the colour, rhythm, culture and atmosphere of different forms of music, reshaping them into something new. The changing seasons. Journeys towards unfamiliar places. Memories of somewhere to return to. The distance between people. Feelings that lie beyond words. These landscapes and emotions flow throughout the music of starclime. Some things can only be expressed through song. Others only begin to reveal themselves when words disappear. For starclime, vocal works and instrumentals therefore belong equally to the same musical world. Each member brings a different musical background and a different perspective to every work, while some continue to discover and develop their own musical identity. Rather than preserving a single finished form, starclime allows the music itself to grow through change. starclime does not seek simply to add more genres. Its aim is to renew the way music itself can be perceived through the meeting of different musical worlds. Towards music that has yet to be named. Towards landscapes we have yet to discover. starclime will continue to present new ways of seeing and hearing music.
