Lanterns glow across the Edo night.
Open the love-letter app,
and every profile looks flawless.
But then-
you meet in person,
and nobody looks the same.
"Filter On, KAKOU On" is a playful Boom-Bap satire
that brings modern beauty filters into old Edo Japan.
"Enhance it."
"Find the perfect angle."
Portrait artists, merchants, and town girls alike
are all chasing an ideal version of themselves.
Yet bed hair remains undefeated.
A humorous tale where ukiyo-e meets social media culture,
where beauty filters and romance collide beneath lantern light.
Tonight, the edits continue.
Liminal Reverie is an instrumental music project centered on the theme between reality and dreams. Between day and night. After the crowds fade away. Moments where reality and dreams have not yet fully separated. Liminal Reverie turns the lingering presence, afterglow, and quiet atmosphere of those moments into sound. The project is built on two complementary musical axes: Japanese side: Edo Lofi Western side: Liminal Reverie Each explores a different world, while sharing the same sense of liminality.
