"OYUGIKAI" is a collaborative album by rapper NEOM, known for his singular vocal texture, and beatmaker zyagyo, a master of intricate soundscapes.

The core of this project lies in its multi-layered arrangements, built through a digital "rally" of audio data and exhaustive studio sessions. Traversing the boundaries of various subgenres, the album presents a world that is chaotic yet sophisticated. By extracting and redefining NEOM's voice through the lens of "sonic fetishism," the duo creates a unique auditory experience previously unseen in the hip-hop scene.

NEOM, who also serves as an engineer, handled everything from recording to mastering. He pushed for "raw loudness and dynamics" that defy modern streaming standards. While the lyrics candidly capture the subtle emotional nuances of daily life that often go unspoken, zyagyo elevates these raw emotions into a one-of-a-kind acoustic space.

Featuring the fresh and liberated style of SacaiPraya, the album offers both deep empathy and the pure joy of "playing with sound." This is an uncompromising work where the creator's egos have been pushed to the very limit.

    NEOM / Neon Hailing from Neyagawa, Osaka, NEOM launched his career in his mid-teens, wielding a signature mellow flow and a versatile style that transcends the boundaries of traditional hip-hop. He is a lyricist who candidly articulates the subtle emotional nuances of daily life that often remain unspoken. For his 2nd EP, NEOTERIC, NEOM spent a year immersed in production at local studios in the United States, capturing his shifting perspective within a foreign culture. His 3rd EP, Lethe, centered on the theme of "oblivion," featuring artists from his neighboring town of Hirakata and Saitama, showcasing his ever-deepening worldview. Following the 2025 release of his 4th EP, Tezukuri no Tsuki, his creative momentum has shown no signs of slowing. In April 2026, NEOM joins forces with beatmaker zyagyo from Hirakata for their latest collaborative project, OYUGIKAI. Now establishing a unique position as a "Rapper-Engineer," NEOM not only performs but also handles the engineering for his own works and those of his peers. By balancing intricate acoustic design with razor-sharp lyrics, NEOM continues to bring a fresh perspective to the Japanese music scene.
