“Searching Skies” is an album by Budamunk and J.Lamotta Suzume. Both of them are heavily inspired by Dilla’s music, which serves them as an elusive focal point for creation. Budamunk and Suzume met at the end of summer 2018 in Tokyo and have been making music together ever since, exchanging ideas between Tokyo, Berlin, and Tel-Aviv. Budamunk’s grainy sound together with Suzume's soulful melodies are making this project a raw and dreamy experience.
